What is U.Achieve?

  • U.Achieve is the primary tool used by UIC students and UIC academic advisors to keep track of academic progress towards the completion of a degree.

  • U.Achieve audits include all degree requirements for your specific major, noting which classes you have completed and which classes you still need to take.

  • Your U.Achieve audit is refreshed each time it is run, updating as you complete new courses and move closer to graduation.

What is included on an U.Achieve audit?

  • Unique Identifying Information: Includes the audit date, your full name, University Identification Number (UIN), declared major, and major catalog year.

  • General Overview: Shows your degree progress and a reminder to meet with your academic advisor each semester to review your progress.

  • Individual Degree Requirements: Lists required courses, course options to satisfy those requirements, and shows if complete or incomplete. (Your transfer courses will be listed within these requirements if equivalent to UIC courses required for your major.)

  • GPA and Credit Hours: Shows progress toward your grade point average and credit hour requirements, including Total Degree Hours required.

  • Course History: Lists your complete course work in chronological order, including courses that are not applicable to your UIC degree requirements.

  • “UNKNOWN” Courses: Indicates course work that is in the process of being reviewed for transferability. If course is transferable to UIC, the UIC Undergraduate Colleges will determine the appropriate articulation target.

Please note that final confirmation of degree requirements is subject to college approval. In addition, some UIC programs may be revised prior to the start of your term. 

Your U.Achieve report contains quite a bit of information. Take some time, read through the document, and review the requirements. Check to see that all of your transfer work is listed.
