Program Highlights

The Bachelor in Entrepreneurship provides the basic business concepts students need to build a successful enterprise and uses the innovative thinking of our research faculty to help students design their own career paths.

Chicago now ranks second in the nation in the number of fast-growing small businesses. And at UIC, we put you in the thick of it with UIC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, which offers connections to 1871—an annual business plan competition—innovation incubators and numerous resources that put you on the fast-track to starting your own business. Students in the bachelor of entrepreneurship program gain knowledge of business planning, financing, marketing, management, information technology and consulting. You'll learn how to apply this knowledge to new ventures, small enterprises and family businesses. At UIC Business, we prepare ambitious students to create their own ventures, contribute new ideas to the world and shape their own futures.
