How Will My Courses Transfer to UIC?

Transfer students often ask how their credits will transfer to UIC. You can use a free tool called Transferology to see how your courses may apply toward a UIC degree.

We recommend you complete these steps before attending a scheduled appointment with a UIC counselor.

Use Transferology to Check Your Credits

1. Create Your Account

Go to go.uic.edu/transferology, create a free account, and log in. Add your courses by selecting your school and entering each course into your Transferology shopping cart.

2. Search for Matches

Select “Search for Matches” to see how your courses may transfer. Look for University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) in the list of schools.

3. View Your UIC Results

Select UIC to see how your courses might transfer. You’ll find a summary of each course, along with options to view program information or send your results to UIC.
